All of you ‘The Game’ fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the show has been renewed for a fifth season. According to Deadline, BET will make the official announcement Wednesday that they have ordered 22 episodes for the show’s upcoming season.

After BET rescued the show from cancellation its former network The CW, the series has brought in record ratings. When ‘The Game’ debuted on BET earlier this year, it pulled in an astounding 7.7 million viewers, which topped the 2 million viewers it pulled while on The CW network and the 4.4 million that said goodbye when the 4th season ended.

BET is also expected to renew their newest original series ‘Let’s Stay Together’ and announce a series pickup for ‘Reed Between the Lines’ which stars former ‘Girlfriends’ actress Tracee Ellis Ross as a busy psychiatrist, and also stars former ‘Cosby Show’ actor Malcolm Jamal-Warner.

‘The Game’ stars Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Hosea Chanchez, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell and Brittany Daniel. In the BET revival season, the show featured multiple appearances from Meagan Good, Terrence J and others.
