Media mogul Oprah Winfrey never got to where she is today without being business savvy. Where there’s money to be made, O’s already made it! So it’s no surprise that Oprah is charging $1 million dollars for 30-second commercial slots during the airing of her series finale.

But some find this price a bit much, even for Ms. Winfrey. PopEater.com responded to the news by saying:

Take into account the fact that the ‘Oprah’ finale will air during daytime, not primetime, and the reported $1 million price tag is pretty staggering.

Our guess is it’ll be a good investment and publicity for all involved on the day! Oprah’s final show airs May 25th, and it is estimated that she will pull in AT LEAST 20 million viewers.
