So here’s the skinny. Folks connected with the ongoing Lindsay Lohan case allege that while in chambers yesterday Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers offered Lindsay’s lawyer a plea deal that would ensure that the troubled starlet did no more than SIX MONTHS behind bars.

However, Judge Keith Schwartz, the presiding judge over Lilo’s case, said in open court he had a feeling that Lindsay and her lawyer Shawn Holley would pass on the D.A.’s offer due to the fact that Lindsay has been adamant about not accepting  any jail time — at least not now.

Whether she wants to or not it would be in Lindsay’s best interest to just suck it up and take the plea because chances are she’s gonna wind up behind bars either way.

Judge Schwartz already decided that Lindsay’s preliminary hearing and probation violation case will be heard at the same time. At the end of the preliminary hearing, if the judge feels that Lilo did in fact hock the $2500 necklace then Lindsay will be shipped to the slammer immediately while she awaits trial on the grand theft case.

Even if Lindsay is somehow exonerated at trial, she’ll still be in jail for the probation violation.

Not looking too good for Ms. Lohan either way you look at it.
