So that open letter Superhead penned last month wasn’t a joke after all…

According to TMZ, Karrine Steffans has filed a restraining order against her ex-husband Darius McCracy aka Eddie Winslow after the former “Family Matters” actor allegedly beat her with a belt Joe Jackson style. More details are below:

In the docs filed, Steffans claims that McCracy “choked me from behind and beat me with a belt” during an argument in February that was witnessed by her 12 year-old son. She also claims that on a second occasion in November….McCrary choked her and shoved her into a car in front of a crowd of people at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in L.A.

Karrine is now asking a judge to make the restraining order more permanent and will appear in court next week. But in the meantime, McCrary has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her.

We really believe there’s more to this story than she’s telling. SMH!!
