In the past, Gisele Bundchen has said that adjusting to being a mother was no small task, however these days her tune has changed and she says she thinks motherhood is “so, so, wonderful!” The 30-year-old supermodel, who gave birth to her first child with her husband, NFL player Tom Brady late last year, says she can’t imagine her life without her baby.
“I love being a mother!” she gushed. “It is challenging and it is different when everything is not about you and your life – now there is someone much more important. It takes some adjusting, but it is so, so wonderful.”
Gisele and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady tied the knot in February 2009 and the pair had their son Benjamin in December 2009 (Tom has 3-year-old son named John from a previous relationship). And Gisele says she’s happy she waited for the right man to come along before she had a baby.
“My son is so beautiful, I love him so much. But before you have children, you have got to make sure you’ve got a great man. You can’t settle for less – someone you love, and someone who has the same beliefs.”
Sounds like one big happy family!
