Actress Salma Hayek may be afraid of snakes, but she doesn’t mind a few creepy-crawlies!
Salma appeared on the David Letterman show Monday night and spoke on her craving for bugs and and how they’re delicately cooked in her native land of Mexico.
“These little ants fried are amazing – with a little guacamole. And the worms … there are many different recipes for those. The little grasshoppers have a smoky flavor to them. It’s the way they cook them, and it’s really good. They’re not that easy to find. They’re delicatessen.”
When the audience (and Letterman himself) laughed, Hayek realized she had made a mistake in pronouncing the word “delicacy” and joked about her gaffe.
“Yeah, sorry. My French is getting a little better – [but] my English is getting a lot worse.”
Somebody should put that girl on a show like Fear Factor or something, she would do well! (LOL)
