Rihanna Wants Protection Order Against Chris Brown Removed

Rihanna & Chris BrownAccording to Rihanna‘s lawyer Donald Etra, the pop singer doesn’t think that 50-yard protection clause (10 yards at events) a judge ordered against her and Chris Brown is necessary. Etra plans on asking the court to get rid of the order of protection at Chris Brown’s sentencing today.

The 21-year-old “Umbrella” singer wants a less-stringent “level one” order, with no distance requirement, her lawyer said.

“Our position has not changed. We still believe a level one is sufficient. It would protect her against Chris annoying, harassing or molesting her in any way,” said Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra. “She doesn’t feel it’s necessary [to have a 50-yard buffer].”

    I feel that, given the widespread coverage of this criminal issue, the odds are a level one protection order will more than suffice. I say go with their wishes.
