[VIDEO] Beyonce, Hugh Jackman and More Perform Musical Medley at 2009 Academy Awards

Beyonce shared the stage with Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and more at the 2009 Academy Awards as they sang a 6 and a half minute musical medley from some of the most famous musicals in movie history. We wonder why Beyonce was the only performer who punked out and lip-synched. Still, great performance never-the-less! Check it out above.

    Either way, the performance was on point. I rarely see Beyonce lip synch, and its not like she did it becuase she cant sing, because she can. But it was a good performance.

    Exactly, she was on point and she hit every accent and every move, she was flawless…I was like WOW…DAMN. She really showed her dancing skillls once again…and even if she lipsynched, so what? Although it’s not like her to do that cuz 90% of the time, she sings live…but if she lipsynched, it most likely will be the instructions of the people who produced the piece, so to me, Bey KILLED IT. and she and hugh jackmen make a great duo.

    Last song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow. She sang that last year at some award thing also.

    And I’m not bothered that she lipped it either. She rarely does but now the interweb is buggin’ out cause this one time she did when people like Britney lip-synch for every performance.

    And I heard Hugh lipped some parts too.

    She was probably sick. Bey is such a perfectionist, so she probably noticed her natural voice was “off” at soundcheck/rehearsal and decided to lip synch cause you know if she sounded bad she wouldn’t have heard the end of it lol. Look at how many people are tripping because she lip-synched!

    Why is it necessary to inform us that “Beyonce” lips-ynced this time. Its not like she does it all the time. And I bet if you checked it out, the “powers that be” made the decision. Heck, Jennifer Hudson lipsynced the “Star Spangled Banner” @ the Superbowl this year. So what. People act like this girl is not human. A lot of entertainers lipsync, why is it that she punked out, the whole set was lip-syncing. With all the running and moving don’t U think it was possibly smart decision? WOW.
