Our friends over at Rap-Up Magazine uncovered a recent quote from Kanye West, in which he praises Beyonce, comparing her to legendary singer Tina Turner.
“Nobody really wants to recognize that Beyoncé is a f***ing living legend and that she is just as great, if not greater, than the artists that we had in the past…that she’s probably greater than Tina Turner.”

I love Kanye – worked with him before H-I-Z-Z-O and documented that he was going to be the star that he is now.
I have defended this guy for a long time now… but this is just being ignorant and stupid.
If you believe that Beyonce is greater than Tina, whatever. Just do not be foolish enough to say it out loud.
(BTW – even though she has talent, she is nowhere near greater than Tina)
It just goes to show how oblivious you are to the past.
I am certain some 13-15 year old kid will one day [publicly] state that Chris Brown is a greater performer than M.J.
And it is all because they never saw Mike Jack Moonwalk live at Motown 25 or witnessed him when he ruled the industry.
Stupid move ‘Ye.

Now i am now and forever will be a fan of both tina and beyonce….but beyonce should only wish to ONE day be as great as tina…..B is very talented but it takes alot to be that great. 1st off they represent 2 tottally diff styles of music. Kanye may have not meant what he said….maybe he was trying to say that if B stays on the track as she is on that she could be as great as Tina…I’m going to hope that he is not that STOOPID….

Let’s be honest,Beyonce is good but not as good as tina turner.Tina Turner is a legend who has been singing 30 years,beyonce now start singing to meet that record beyonce has to sing a little longer but all in all i still love B.
