T.I., Tiny, and Others Arrested on Firearm Charges!

T.I. and his crew (including longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle) were arrested Saturday evening in a Walgreens parking lot just hours before he was to perform AND receive two awards at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Word on the block is he planned to pick up machine guns and silencers bought for him by his bodyguard
T.I. is in trouble with the ATF. Federal agents nabbed the Grammy Award-winning rapper Saturday in a parking lot where he allegedly planned to pick up machine guns and silencers bought for him by his bodyguard. The arrest came just hours before he was to perform at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. The self-proclaimed “King of the South” won two awards despite his absence.
Born Clifford Harris, the 27-year-old lyricist is charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. T.I. was sentenced to three years in prison for a probation violation on a drug conviction in 2004, but served only part of his sentence. His latest arrest came after a federal firearms dealer told the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives a man was inquiring about buying a machine gun without legally registering the weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed yesterday. After trying to buy several machine guns from an undercover ATF agent, the unnamed person began cooperating with the government and said he was buying the machine guns and silencers for Harris, the complaint said. I sincerely hope that the snitch lied to save his own skin. That T.I and other innocent parties are released.

“That T.I and other innocent parties” …umm, how is TI innocent? He’s buying machine guns illegally. The innocents are the people who will probably die by those guns. It’s bad enough that the government allows gun ownership (too many ppl die from ‘legal’, registered guns), but TI had it coming. He doesn’t deserve any extra sympathy just because he’s a celebrity rapper

^^psh..w/e. it’s still pretty bogus though. They should have just arrested him, not everyone else. I believe those are the ‘innocent parties’ dionne was referring to…i hope the best for him.

You know, as I think about it, I seen this coming since June when T.I. refused to stop saying BITCHES, NIGGAS, and HOES. I knew that sooner or later he was going to have legal issues. It was only a matter of time.

Whoa….Tyrone…homey…i don’t think that was the cause of Tip’s downfall. Him refusing to say those words has not a damn thing to do with it. That’s his freedom of speech. Anywho…i hate commenting twice in one topic, but i really hope the best for him and his family. Plus, i heard Tiny was pregnant(again) and Baby King was there when they were arrested. I’m not one to say ’snitches get theirs’ but damn…i don’t want him to go down like this.

iam going to speak my mind cause this is wrong i think he should not go to Prison everybody makes mistakes and he should of perform on the awards to cause it wouls of been better for him and i mad that he didi get to get both of the awards that he got nommintomes for.
