THE GAME IS FREE … FOR NOW AT LEAST! » A New York judge dismissed police impersonation charges against The Game today on the grounds that he stay out of trouble for the next six months. Now this incident happened before T2W’s time, but back here in November, Jayceon Taylor (Game’s government) was arrested for allegedly impersonating a police officer. Now why he would do something like that is beyond me. He apparently bombarded an NYC taxi cub and flashed a fake badge to the driver. Prosecutors claim the rapper told the driver he was an undercover officer and encouraged him to run several red stoplights on Lexington Avenue before being pulled over. I’m guessing he had somewhere “important” to be! Haha. According to the Associated Press, Judge Marc Whiten gave Game a conditional discharge. If Game is not arrested again within six months, the misdemeanor charge will be dropped and the case file sealed. Game reportedly left the courthouse smiling saying: “I love New York, but I hate the system. I hate every system.”

But Game’s not through with the law just yet! He is due in court next Tuesday (Sept. 25th) to stand trial on three felony charges stemming from an incident in February when he allegedly had a gun in his possession during a high school basketball game in LA. If convicted, the rapper could be sentenced to more than five years in prison.

ANOTHER MIAMI HEAT PLAYER TO DIVORCE HIS WIFE! » This hasn’t been confirmed yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be true. Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade and his wife Siohvaughn are calling it quits. Here’s what THE BIG LEAD had to say:

If you see some women wandering the streets of Miami this weekend with that money-hungry look in their eyes, it’s probably because Shaq isn’t the only bachelor in town – D. Wade is also getting divorced, so sayeth Miami Sports Blog. Nobody who parties in Miami is surprised by this. The couple has been together for quite some time … so he’ll probably be out $10 million. At least.

DANG, BRITNEY! WHAT’S NEXT?! » Well damn! I didn’t see this one coming! Or maybe I did… With all of the hoopla surrounding Britney Spears and her stint at last week’s VMAs, we almost forgot about her custody battle with her kids. FOX NEWS is reporting that Britney will temporarily lose custody of her two toddler sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline. Commissioner Scott Gordon will order the boys, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, turned over to Federline based on information that Los Angeles Family Court received over the weekend about Spears, the sources told FOX News. During Monday’s custody hearing, Spears’ former bodyguard accused the pop star of having “issues of nudity and drug use” since she returned from rehab, and reports of a planned “hit” on Federline emerged. JAMIE FOXX GETS A SPOT ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME » This past Friday, Jamie Foxx received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “My grandmother’s got to be spreading her wings and flying around in heaven, just so happy,” he said during the unveiling of the star. He called the day “one of the most amazing days” of his life. After receiving an Oscar for his ground-breaking performance of Ray Charles in “Ray” in 2005, I’d say it’s about damn time he get his props with his very own star! Congratz Jamie!
