Justin Timberlake hosted the 2008 ESPY Awards last night and from the looks of it, the show looked to be very eventful! JT performed and joked all night long and presented awards to some of the best athletes in the various sports categories. There were many nominees, presenters and categories at the ESPYs, but to find out who won you’ll have to tune in to the show once it airs on July 20th @ 8PM on ESPN. The celebs and athletes came out to honor the biggest events in the world of sports from the 2007-2008 calendar year. David Beckham, Derek Fisher, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Forest Whitaker, Carmelo Anthony, Candace Parker and more all showed up in support of the nominees for ESPYs last night. Keri Hilson, Timbaland, and the Simmons Family Hit Up TRL
My girl Keri Hilson and Timbaland made a pit stop on the promo trail at TRL Monday. As you already know, Keri premiered her new video, and talked about her debut album, “In A Perfect World,” which is due for a late summer/early fall release, so definitely be on the look-out for it. Rumor has it that she and Terrence J exchanged numbers on Monday’s 106 & Park, so if that’s the case … TJ better watch his back 😉 That’s all I’m saying.

N.E.R.D. and Fonzworth Bentley Hit Up TRL
First up, I’d like to let everyone know that T2W is back online for good now! Some of you may have noticed that we experienced a few “testicular difficulties” (copyright Fresh lol) all day yesterday and for most of today, which made posting not only difficult, but 100% impossible. At one point I was afraid that I had lost everything (posts, comments, pages, etc.), but you’ll be glad to know that I fixed the problem and we’re back in action now! Now back to the updates!
The guys of N.E.R.D. and Fonzworth Bentley made a special appearance on yesterday’s episode of TRL to premote their respective projects. Fonzworth, who plans on releasing an album later on this year, also premiered his new video, featuring Andre 3000 and Kanye West, Everybody. You can also catch Fonz on VH1’s latest reality series, From G’s to Gents every Tuesday at 10 PM.

But she won’t admit it outright. “I haven’t really watched it since Ruben [Studdard] won,” the singer tells me after cutting her workout short and grabbing the phone at her New Jersey home for our interview. But whether she likes it or not, she does think the juggernaut show does the contestants a huge disservice. “Honestly, it’s not giving most of them a real chance to become an artist for the rest of their lives,” she explains. “They are on national TV every night. They have automatic fame. All of the greatest artists had to struggle for their success.”
