Actress Teri Hatcher REALLY, TRULY wants you all to know that even though she’s tried botox in the past, it’s a no-no for her these days.
The 45-year-old “Desperate Housewives” star took to her Facebook Monday night (Aug 9) and posted the picture above (on the right) in an album titled “Oy with Botox!” featuring nine photos of herself wrinkling up her face to prove that she hasn’t had any injections lately.
A makeup free and freshly showered Hatcher wrote:
“Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, [it’s] no surgery, no implants… no matter what ‘they’ say. Decided I’d shoot myself in to reveal some truths about ‘beauty’ and hope it makes you all easier on yourself.”
Teri reveals that she has, however, used fillers in the past to cure wrinkles and other blemishes on her face.
“Did I ever toy with fillers or Botox over the years? Yes. Tell me does this look Botoxed to you? Yes I am alone in my bathroom naked in a towel on behalf of women everywhere trying to make a point. Women YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.”
In one photo, Teri scrunches up her eyebrows and makes a hard crease in her forehead to show off her skin’s elasticity. She even gave a shout-out to follow actress Julia Roberts:
“I can be mad, or confused, or sad and tired. Julia Roberts had that same vein in her forehead in Eat Pray Love. Proud of Julia for being a real woman on a real journey.
“Just me wanting to teach that all those glam versus trash pictures of celebs are about LIGHTING. It’s not makeup, it’s not surgery or Botox…. Flat front light in your face, especially sun setting [or] 4pm light blows out all wrinkles and imperfections. Overhead light [and] sun… casts shadows under your eye from your brow, making you look tired. Shoot all family reunion photos [with] the camera man… holding the camera a little higher than your eye line.”
We know you want everyone to know you go au natur-al Ms. Hatcher, but was all that necessary? That would be like Lady Gaga ripping her underwear off screaming “Yes! I am WOMAN! See my VA-JAY-JAY?!?! Beyonce had the same va-jay-jay on her world tour…”
