What happens when two celebrity narcissist millionaires procreate? In the case of Kim Kardashian, they wear ill-fitting outfits and really uncomfortable shoes that make their feet look like they run a taxi service in Bedrock. And if you are to believe the tabloids, she is planning to spend one million dollars to make sure the baby she’s having with Kanye West delivers without any glitches.
A source told the National Enquirer:
“This is not going to be just any delivery, even by celebrity standards. Kim has already spent tens of thousands of dollars to make sure things go down without a glitch.”
I’m not sure about the dollar amount, but I can imagine Ms. I Want To Look Perfect At All Times is doing the absolute most to make sure everything about her baby delivery goes as she wants it to. That includes her hiring someone to document every single second of her last moments as Kanye’s baby mama.
The tabloid reports:
She’s hired a top photographer to document the delivery and her first week as a new mom – at a cost of $1,000 a day. And she and Kanye are also planning to dish out more than $4,000 per day for a deluxe birthing suite at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Kim is expected to spend at least three days.
The posh maternity suite features a full-size soaking tub, two beds, a separate sitting room with a sofa and dining table, a flat-screen TV, a fridge stocked with juices, water and food, and two bathrooms. If that weren’t enough, Kim, 32, is spending thousands to have the suite blanketed in dozens of white roses. And although the new parents will receive three gourmet meals daily, Kim’s put some of her favorite restaurants – like Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and her local deli, Cuvee – on call for the duration of her stay.
In addition to the deluxe digs, the couple spent $25,000 on lingerie while they were in Paris last month, because Kim “had no intention of wearing a plain old hospital gown that’s been worn by other women,” the source said.
She also shelled out a small fortune on organic clothes and sheet sets for the baby. Her favorite boutique? L.A.’s The Little Seed, owned by former “Punky Brewster” star Soleil Moon Frye.
Kim’s booked her favorite hairdresser, Scott Cunha from the Andy LeCompte Salon in West Hollywood, to keep her perfectly coiffed – at a rate of $1,500 per day for three days.
The couple also dropped $1,500 on a top-of-the-line Orbit Baby stroller/car seat system to make sure their bundle of joy leaves the hospital in style.
