J. Cole and his wife are having another baby.
The rapper released a new compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III Friday (Jul. 5), and on the closing track “Sacrifices”—featuring Cole, EARTHGANG, Smino and Saba—the Dreamville CEO announces that he and his wife, Melissa Heholt, are expecting their second child.
Throughout his verse on the song, Cole raps about his undying love for his wife of the past four years and drops the news that she’s pregnant with their second kid.
“I had nowhere to go, she gave me a place to stay / She gave me her heart to hold / I still got that sh*t to this day,” the 34-year-old raps near the end of the 6-minute track.
“She gave me the gift of my son / and plus we got one on the way,” he reveals, adding, “She gave me a family to love, for that I can never repay / I’m crying while writing these words / The tears they feel good on my face.”
