BET’s annual “Black Girls Rock” event is all about empowering black women, and Ciara — backed by an all-female band — took to the stage at the ceremony to do just that with a performance of her latest single “I Bet.”

The song is about a woman who is basically letting her ex know that he’s going to miss her when she’s gone, and many believe that the tune is directed at Ciara’s own babby daddy/ex fiancée Future. “I bet you start loving me, soon as I start loving someone else, somebody better than you” Ciara sings on the hook.

Ciara’s upcoming sixth studio album ‘Jackie’ is due out on May 4th, the day after the “Jackie Tour” kicks off at the House of Blues in Chicago.
