Hype is building for the new “Man of Steel” movie directed by Christopher Nolan and yesterday a new trailer debuted.
“Man of Steel” takes Henry Cavill, who was cast as the new Superman, through a journey to become the iconic hero. Starting with his humble beginnings in Kansas, after being sent to Earth by his birth father Jor-El, played by Russell Crowe, we watch Clark Kent guided by his Earth father Jonathan, played by Kevin Costner.
As Kent embarks on his journey to become Superman, he is met with many challenges along the way to conceal his identity, but eventually steps into the iconic suit to protect the Earth just in time from General Zod, played by Michael Shannon.
“Man of Steel” hits theaters June 14 and also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
