R&B’s breakout star Frank Ocean put together a somewhat unconventional performance for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Most artists opt for a spectacle (big lights, lasers, explosions, moving sets, etc), but Frank chose tranquility with his campfire performance of his Channel Orange single “Thinking Bout You.”
