Check out actor Al Pacino (dressed up as infamous music producer Phil Spector) on the set of the movie portraying Spector’s life Monday afternoon (Jul 11) in Midtown, NYC! Pacino looks NOTHING like himself … but we don’t really see the whole “Phil Spector” look either. (**Kanye shrug**)

Phil Spector is credited for bringing Ike and Tina Turner to fame, creating the “Wall of Sound” and salvaging the Beatles album “Let It Be” after the band split up, and all of this and more of his life story will be told in an upcoming HBO biopic written and directed by David Mamet.

Spector, who was convicted in the very public 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson, is currently serving a 19-year prison sentence at a state prison in California.
