After seven hilarious years on the hit NBC comedy “The Office”, Steve Carell, who played office manager Michael Scott, bid farewell to millions of heartbroken viewers during last night’s final episode to further pursue his budding film career.
The show’s storyline during Thursday’s curtain call for Carell’s character saw Scott leave the Dunder Mifflin paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania to move to Colorado with his fiancée Holly.
No word yet as to who will replace Carell, but Thursday’s episode ruled out the possibility of guest star Will Ferrell.
