So far, 2011 is turning out to be a huge year for newcomer Bruno Mars.
Already a 2011 Grammy winner for best male pop vocal performance for his hit single “Just the Way You Are,” the singer’s debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans has gone platinum. And outside of the US, the album has reached DOUBLE platinum status!
In addition to this great news, Mars will be co-headlining a tour with Bad Boy artist Janelle Monae which kicks off on May 4th at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
The “Grenade” singer is also set to take the American Idol stage on April 28th.
