Seven-time Grammy nominee Bruno Mars, who was busted for cocaine possession in Las Vegas last September, has said that although he is in show business, he is NOT a role model.
In a new interview with GQ magazine, the Grenade singer stated:
“I’m not gonna preach that I’m a role model. I’m a f**king musician! But I’ve learned people are watching, so don’t do nothing stupid.”
For his actions in sin city, Mars appeared in court in January and got slapped with a $2000 fine, 200 hours of community service and an order to complete drug counseling. All of which is considerably good, because if he were convicted, he would have faced four years behind bars.
Bet he’s glad he dodged that grenade!
