Regis Philbin is ready to retire from his show!
The 79 year-old talk show veteran announced earlier today that this will be his last year on “Live with Regis and Kelly” .
“I don’t want to alarm anybody … but this will be my last year on the show. There is a time that everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people.”
After 28 years of hosting the show, Regis’ long run will end sometime in the summer or fall. (Wonder who can step up to the plate?)
We hate to see him leaving though……but everyone’s good run must come to an end some time.
