After months of speculation, it appears that Charlie Sheen will have to make his way to jail very soon. The actor is expected to plea “no contest” to misdemeanor assault and will likely be sentenced to 30 days in jail.
On the bright side of this situation, the “Two and a Half Men” actor’s huge salary has allowed him to get one of the best lawyers in the game, Richard Cummings, who will likely get Sheen’s 30 day sentence reduced dramatically. But regardless, Sheen will definitely do some kind of time behind bars in Aspen, Colorado and will be required to complete 36 hours of anger management.
Charlie was arrested late last year after it was reported that he physically attacked his wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day. Early last month, it was being reported that Brooke had decided to move out of the couple’s home and plans to file for divorce once the case is resolved and a confidential agreement is reached. The exact details of their prenuptial agreement aren’t known, but Mueller is said to receive a one-time payment in addition to a certain amount for each year she and Sheen were married.
