The Nutty Professor 3?!? Can you imagine it?
Eddie Murphy, the mastermind behind the 1st and 2nd installments of the hit movie is at it again! Access Hollywood recently spoke with Murphy and asked him if there was any chance of a 3rd installment of the “Nutty Professor” franchise and this is what the actor/comedian/director/producer had to say:
“You know what, there might be another Nutty Professor. We kind of wrote something that might be kind of funny. If the studios want to do it, we’ll do it. If you don’t see it, the studio was like, ‘This isn’t funny.'”
We hear that Eddie Murphy has pitched the new Nutty Professor project to Universal Studios, but everyone is being very tight-lipped on the outcome of that pitch meeting with studio execs, but we will keep you posted as more information is released. In the meantime, catch Murphy in the fourth installment of “Shrek,” aptly titled “Shrek Forever After.”
