Singer Kelly Rowland was joined by her celebrity friends over the weekend in Miami to help the former Destiny’s Child member launch her new “I Heart My Girlfriends” charity. Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams and LaLa Vazquez were all on hand at the charity’s launch party Sunday night (Mar 28) in Miami Beach, FL. Miss America Caressa Cameron was also at the event.
According to Kelly’s official website, her “I Heart My Girlfriends” charity will focus on women’s self-esteem and empowerment, date violence prevention, community service and mentoring, abstinence, media and financial literacy, obesity prevention, drug, alcohol and anti-smoking avoidance and much more. The website also says that the charity “will serve as an interactive support system for teenage girls.”
