A confusing and equally disturbing report on popular entertainment website TMZ Friday suggested that Shante Broadus, Snoop Dogg‘s wife of over 10 years, was dead and her body was in the basement. We didn’t believe it for a minute. And fortunately, the “rumor” (can we really call it that?) is NOT true in any way, shape, form or fashion. His people reached out to TMZ and released the following statement, saying that the rumors were “totally ridiculous and most of all hurtful to Snoop Dogg and his family.”
“Of course, the CHP rumors are absolutely not true, totally ridiculous, and most of all hurtful to Snoop Dogg and his family. Snoop, Shante and their family are all alive and well – we appreciate the fans concerns for their safety. Anything said or reported on regarding the death of Shante Broadus is totally false.”
