Following poor sales of her newly released album Calling All Hearts, Keyshia Cole has decided to give her longtime manager his walking papers.
Taking to her Twitter page yesterday (Tue. Jan 18) the R&B singer announced that she has fired her manager Manny Halley, who made several appearances on her BET reality show “The Way It Is.”
“Would like for u guys to know that Manny Halley is no longer my management. Someone said if the people around u won’t change, change the people around you. If you always do what you always did. You’ll always get wht you always got….. Stop being afraid. Its ok to change for the better. Trust me,”Keyshia Cole wrote to her followers on Twitter.
News of Keyshia Cole giving her manager a pink slip comes just weeks after her fourth studio album came into the Billboard 200 chart at a low number its first week of release.
To date, the album hasn’t even reached 200K copies sold yet, which isn’t at all normal for Cole, whose previous three albums have all went platinum.
