The king…..is now caged.

T.I. has reported (for a second time) to a federal prison to serve time for a weapons violation. The rapper began his 11 month sentence for violating his probation yesterday afternoon (Mon. Nov 1) after he turned himself in to Forrest City prison in Arkansas.

“I can confirm he is in prison,” T.I.’s attorney Steve Sadow said. “He reported before the due time, which I think was noon.”

Just before he surrendered to authorities (at the same prison where he served time between May and December of last year), T.I. sent out a message to his followers on Twitter:

“Hey yall #teamTI will be holding me down on this front with updates until I return. Thx for your continued support. In a minute No Mercy.”

T.I.’s newest album No Mercy (originally titled “King Uncaged” before he was handed his prison sentence) is due in stores December 7th, and just last week, the rapper shot the music video for the album’s latest single, “Get Back Up” featuring Chris Brown.

See ya around this time next year Tip!
