Dawn Richard // Making the Band 4 (Season 3) Live Finale D. Woods // Making the Band 4 (Season 3) Live Finale

If you’ve seen the Making the Band Finale, you were probably left with a pretty bitter taste in your mouth as far as the Danity Kane situation is concerned. Hell, they may as well have not even shown up if that’s all that was going to happen. We already knew what the deal was with them a while back. And to top it all off, Aundrea didn’t even show up… But here’s a couple of quotes from Dawn and D. Woods who both had very different viewpoints on how the finale went:

Dawn Richard:
“… I’m happy with the positivity at the finale. … I don’t know those answers about why he chose me. I’m happy that he wanted to move forward with me. Everybody looked beautiful,” she said about reuniting with everyone except Aundrea Fimbres, who had been let out of her contract in the episode that aired a week before. “I was happy everyone moved forward. It was great.”

Dawn Richard (cont’d):
Before hitting the stage, Richard said she “wasn’t nervous. I’ve had some great shows and moments. It was great energy.” She also had no clue that Fimbres was opting out of the reunion. “I didn’t know, but I hope she’s doing well.”
The girls remained very composed for their reunion, and Richard promises that things were just as friendly between all four girls and Diddy backstage. “I pray for the best on the other girls.” [ SOURCE ]

D. Woods:
Hours before D. Woods appeared on the show, she told MTV News that the finale felt like “the last day of school. I’m moving on to the next grade.”

Woods told MTV News that the level of communication since the breakup was actually pretty similar to when they were still a group.

“This is the nice answer that I give: The lines of communication that were in existence during the group exist after the group, meaning me and Aubrey talk a lot,” Woods said. “I talk to Shannon sometimes. That’s who I talk to.”

In the final episode, Woods seemed to be pretty against the idea of getting back together right now. “I would have to say, we need to have a real conversation about what making it work means,” she told MTV News earlier. “If you don’t really address the problems, you’ll be in the same predicament. You have to be sober about making these decisions.” [ SOURCE ]

Damn, were they even in the same room? Did we all see the same show?

D.Woods is an idiot. That’s why she’s grasping at straws and TRYING to find legitimate work today. DAWN on the other hand, has legitimately landed on her feet with a successful venture in DIRTY MONEY. Aubrey has recently as much as ADMITTED that she had it MADE and blew it. Big ups for Aubs for that and congrats that she has a reality show coming on Oxygen. D.Woods decided that she was going to pick sides and she LOST. You made people enemies that you didn’t have to make enemies. Now, she got some fledgling piece of a deal where its going to be called “Wood Grain Entertainment”? Really? Seriously. You allowed a multi-platinum girl group dissipate for THAT? Grow up, D..’cause you look foolish. Yes, you got a hustle but honey, you are a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way from where you were and an even longer way from where you need to be. Aubs had to WHORE herself just to get the scraps that she has now and if you didn’t blog and tweet yourself to death ppl wouldnt’ know about you either. You’re already 27 years old–I’m sure by THIRTY, you’ll figure it out but by that time, honey, that grass will be too HIGH TO MOW. Props for trying to big up yourself on the Mo’Nique show but most ex-DK fans saw right thru it. You should be kicking yourself EVERYDAY that you allowed yourself to be apart of the demise and the dissention of a very, popular group. I repeat, for Aubrey to say, that you all had it made and all you had to do was do the work and enjoy it but found a way to mess that up…SPEAKS VOLUMES. Years to late, unfortunately. Legalize that…!
