Bruno Mars, B.o.B and Janelle Monae Hit the Stage at the 2011 Grammys

Bruno Mars, B.o.B and Janelle Monae shared the stage Sunday night (Feb 13) as they all performed at the 2011 Grammy Awards. This particular performance was unique because each of the artists assisted one another in their respective songs.

Janelle sang background during B.o.B and Bruno’s “Nothing On You” before the trio transitioned into Bruno’s solo hit “Grenade.” Then, Janelle Monae took over the stage with a performance of her song “Cold War” with Bruno Mars bangin’ on the drums and B.o.B rockin’ it out on the guitar in the background.

Katy Perry Performs at the 2011 Grammys

Katy Perry slowed things down with her “Not Like the Movies” performance last night (Sun. Feb 13) at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

As KP sang the lyrics to her ballad in a swing, images of she and her husband Russell Brand‘s wedding showed up on the screen behind her. The footage showed Katy and Russell as they exchanged vows, and ended with Russell lifting Katy’s veil to share their first kiss as a married couple.

Then, Katy was lowered from her swing and up next was a performance of her Pop hit “Teenage Dream,” which she dedicated to all of the Valentines in the audience.

Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams and More Perform Tribute to Aretha Franklin at the 2011 Grammys

Singers Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch (from Florence & the Machine) and Martina McBride opened up the 2011 Grammy Awards with a touching tribute to legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin.

The ladies performed renditions of a few of Queen of Soul’s songs, including “Natural Woman,” “Ain’t No Way,” “Until YOu Come Back to Me,” “Think,” “Respect” and “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves.”

Though Ms. Franklin couldn’t make it to the show, she did appear in a pre-recorded segment from her home in Detroit, MI where she thanked the performers and wished everyone good luck.
