Fans hoping to see rappers Snoop Dogg and Sean “Diddy” Combs live on stage in the United Kingdom will have to travel elsewhere. The duo’s One Love Peace tour has been canceled in the UK, despite efforts to keep the outing afloat and persuade government officials to reverse their decision to lift their ban on Snoop Dogg and grant him a visa card to enter the country. Snoop was banned from the country last April, after he and his entourage were involved in a brawl in London’s Heathrow Airport when they were denied entrance into British Airways’ first class lounge area. Seven security guards were injured in the fracas, which also led to Snoop Dogg being permanently banned from flying British Airways.

“P. Diddy and Snoop were incredibly disappointed and devastated by the news,” tour spokesperson Celena Aponte told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (Mar. 27). “They really did not want to let fans down this way as the UK was a planned highlight of the tour. However, this ultimately was a situation out of their control. With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has ran out and it is too late reconfigure the show,” Aponte said.

The cancellation marks a low point for the tour, which recently hit a snag after Home Office Minister John Reid denied Snoop Dogg a visa card and banned him from performing in the UK. Snoop Dogg, born Calvin Broadus and Combs were slated to play dates in Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow and Nottingham. The One Love Peace tour will now head to Dublin, Ireland for two shows Saturday (March 31) and Sunday (April 1) at The Point. Snoop and Diddy are former rivals. Their appearances in Ireland comes during a historic moment in time for Northern Ireland, as the major Protestant and Catholic parties have agreed to share power for the first time in history, starting on May 8. UK ticket holders can obtain ticket refunds at the original point of purchase.

Actor Eddie Griffin, best known for his comedic role in the film Undercover Brother, may be working for free on his next film, Redline after he destroyed a rare Ferrari that is featured in movie. During a promotional campaign for the picture at Irwindale Speedway on Monday, Eddie lost control and put the Italian thoroughbred into a concrete wall. According to TMZ, funny man Eddie Griffin was crying more than laughing yesterday when he accidentally totaled a prized Ferrari Enzo at Irwindale Speedway, which was being used as a promotional tool for his latest film, Redline. The beautiful red, ultra rare, $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo was being used in conjunction with a charity event for Race for a Cause and as promotion for the upcoming film, Redline on Monday when the crash occurred. Reports claim that Griffin was doing rehearsals for the event when he lost control of the car and ended up in the wall, leaving the sleek sports car in a twisted mess. Eddie Griffin was taken from the track in an ambulance, but didn’t sustain any injuries and was in good spirits.

BBC reports that the Ferrari Enzo actually belongs to Redline producer, Daniel Sadek, who revealed that he has mixed feelings about the crash. “I’m glad Eddie came out of the crash OK but my dream car got destroyed.” After taking stock of the events at the speedway, Sadek reveals that he tried to put things into perspective and said, ” I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, there’s people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world.”

This time, it’s no prank—Punk’d will soon have its last laugh. MTV announced Monday that the eighth season of Ashton Kutcher’s hidden-camera show would be its final outing. To mark the celebrity-pranking series’ sendoff, the network said it would air all eight episodes from the upcoming season back-to-back in a special “sneak peek marathon” on Apr. 7. The new season will then officially premiere on Apr. 10, as part of MTV’s new Tuesday night lineup.

“We decided to make an event out of it,” MTV Entertainment president Brian Graden told the Hollywood Reporter. “We’re looking to experiment with many alternate programming and premiere models as a way for things to take hold in an age of technology.”

The show’s final episodes will feature victims including Evangeline Lilly, Magic Johnson, Hilary Swank, Jewel and Nelly Furtado, the network said. The list of celebrities targeted by the show in past seasons reads like a who’s who of young Hollywood, with everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Kanye West falling prey to Kutcher’s hoaxes at some point in Punk’d history. Kutcher once even famously pranked his Punk’d audience, when he announced in December 2003 that he was pulling the plug on the show after the second-season finale.

Rappers may not be the most kid-friendly artists in the music world, but one member of G-Unit is denying accusations that he picked on someone half his age. Emcee Tony Yayo pleaded not guilty Sunday to misdemeanor charges of harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, just one day after his arrest in New York for allegedly beating up a 14-year-old boy. While the New York Police Department has not released the boy’s identity—as is typical protocol for incidents involving minors—the alleged teenage victim is believed to be James Rosemond, the son of G-Unit rival the Game’s manager, Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond.

Game, who made a name for himself as 50 Cent’s G-Unit protégé, parted ways with the group in 2005 under highly acrimonious circumstances. A series of incidents, which began as verbal attacks and quickly escalated into shots being fired at his radio station appearances, followed his departure. As it is, the boy’s identity was leaked by none other than his own mother, Cynthia Reed, who released a statement claiming that the incident was sparked when Yayo saw her son—wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Rosemond’s Czar Entertainment logo—across the street from Violator Management, the New York home of Fiddy and his G-Unit crew.

On Friday March 23, 2007, in a failed robbery attempt, Power Hittas/Atlantic recording artist DG Yola was shot in the face while he was in his vehicle stopped at a red light. The bullet went through one cheek and out the other. DG Yola is currently recovering at an Atlanta hospital, where doctors are optimistic that he will make a full and speedy recovery.

“He is already up and about and writing. Yola ain’t gonna let up,” his family said in a statement. “We respectfully request privacy and appreciate the well wishes and prayers of Yola’s fans during this time.”

Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg’s UK appearances with pal Sean “Diddy” Combs have been thrown into jeopardy after the star was denied a visa to enter Britain. The rapper — real name Calvin Broadus — is currently touring Europe with Combs, with the pair slated to perform five dates in the country next week. Tour bosses have admitted they are confused by the authorities decision to prevent Snoop entering the UK and hope the issue can be resolved as soon as possible. A representative for the tour says, “Snoop and his team are mystified at the decision and are hoping that the British government will reconsider this decision, especially as he has toured here before and sees the UK as being the highlight of the tour.

“He has asked how he can help rectify the situation and would happily talk to and give assurances to the officials.”A spokesperson from the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office refused to comment on the star’s visa problems, saying, “We would never comment on visa applications by individuals.”

Tuesday’s gig at Wembley Arena, London, will go ahead. I guess we’ll find out the end result once pics of the performance surfaces…

Rapper Tony Yayo was arrested in New York City on Saturday afternoon and charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Though police wouldn’t identify the child or cite the specific incident which led to the G-Unit member’s arrest, Cynthia Reed and Game manager Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond claim that their 14-year-old son was assaulted by Yayo (real name Marvin Bernard) on March 20 as he was walking to the office of his father’s Czar Entertainment record label/management firm. Game used to be a member of G-Unit before they had a falling out in 2005, and there’s been an ongoing feud ever since. Yayo, 50 Cent and some of their associates allegedly spotted the boy wearing a Czar Entertainment sweatshirt when they were leaving the nearby offices of Violator Management, and confronted him without knowing that he was Rosemond’s son.

“As 50 was getting into his SUV, he hand signaled over to Yayo and his entourage to approach and harass the boy,” a source told AllHipHop.com. “After being interrogated for several minutes as to why he was wearing a Czar Entertainment sweatshirt, Yayo pushed the boy up against the wall.”

It’s alleged that Yayo also backhanded the boy and shouted several expletives directed toward Czar Entertainment. A source told MTV News that 50 Cent and other G-Unit members were detained and questioned by police, but authorities would neither confirm nor deny that report. Yayo was released on Saturday, according to Newsday. He has a lengthy history of legal problems and spent 2003 in prison for weapons possession. He was also reportedly involved in a disturbance before the February 2006 shooting death of Busta Rhymes’ bodyguard, Israel Ramirez.
