There are some people who will never, ever see it for Lil Mama, let alone the idea of her stepping on stage in place of the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes alongside Chilli and T-Boz. But, I have to say, she bopped and twerked for her life at the VH1-sponsored Mixtape Festival in Hershey, PA over the weekend.
The remaining members of TLC performed a medley of greatest hits including, “Baby, Baby, Baby,” “Creep,” “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs.”
Lil Mama, who performed with T-Boz and Chilli on “No Scrubs,” certainly caught the beat, but she definitely didn’t win everyone’s approval. If you pay close attention to the first clip, at 2:51 in you can hear a person saying, “Who the f**k is that?” You can’t hear me, but my neighbors can hear my howls of laughter.
