Following the release of his latest album’s HUGELY SUCCESSFUL debut single “Locked Out of Heaven,” Bruno Mars returns with a new music video, this time for his second single “When I Was Your Man.”
The somber, retro-themed video, co-directed by Mars and Cameron Duddy, features the singer/songwriter — dressed in a sharp tux — sitting behind a grand piano, with a nearly empty glass of Scotch perched on top, as he sings about heartbreak and all the things he could have done to keep his woman from leaving him for another man.
I hope he buys you flowers, I hope he holds your hand
Give you all his hours, when he has the chance
Take you to every party,
Cause I remember how much you loved to dance
Do all the things I should of done, when I was your man
The song is lifted from Bruno Mars’ latest album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ — in stores now.
Catch Bruno next Sunday when he performs at the Grammy Awards, alongside Rihanna and Sting. He blew the roof off with “Runaway Baby” at last year’s show, so we’re anxious to see how he does this year!
