Florence Henderson, best known as “Carol Brady” from the classic TV show “The Brady Brunch,” has decided to air out her dirty laundry — mainly her panties — in public!
In her new memoir “Life Is Not A Stage,” Henderson reveals that while married to her then husband Ira Bernstein … he had a one-night stand with NYC Mayor (at the time) John Lindsay.
“I was lonely. I knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. So, what did I do? I did it”, she says in the memoir.
We bet she learned her lesson as after her tryst with Lindsay she discovered that she had contracted the sexually transmitted disease, Crabs. “Guess I learned the hard way that crabs do not discriminate but cross over all socioeconomic strata,” Henderson recalls. “He must have had quite the active life. What a way to put the kibosh on a relationship.”
And what a way to learn a lesson!
