Snooki is sick and tired of being called …. “Snooki!”
First the “Jersey Shore” star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, ditched her famous “poof” hairdo, and now she’s looking to do the same with her even more popular nickname “Snooki,” despite it playing a big part in making her into somewhat of a celebrity.
“I miss my real name. I miss people calling me Nicole,” she explained to the AP.

“Nicole” is currently promoting her new book “A Shore Thing,” which is a fiction novel about a woman and a cousin who to go the shore looking to have the best summer ever. She says the bond between the women is based on her real-life relationship with her “Jersey Shore” co-star Jenni “J Woww” Farley.
We’re kinda sad Snooki is getting rid of her nickname. “Nicole” sounds boring as hell. Snooki works so much better for her, don’t you think???
