Kyra Sedgwick‘s hit TV show “The Closer” will reportedly see its last and final season next year.

Though the actress’ portrayal of Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson has earned her several awards and accolades, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award earlier this year, Sedgwick has decided that it’s time for “The Closer” to end after its upcoming seventh season.

“I cannot fathom how difficult it will be to say goodbye to the incredible family we’ve created on The Closer,” she said. “I want to thank TNT and Warner Bros. Television, as well as the incredible fans of The Closer, for all of their unwavering support over the last seven years.”

“The Closer” airs Monday nights at 9pm (8c) on TNT! The show also stars Corey Reynolds, G.W. Bailey, J.K. Simmons, Robert Gossett, Michael Paul Chan and more.
