Champion boxer Laila Ali is happy to announce that she and her husband, former NFL player Curtis Conway, are expecting their second child together! The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant exclusively shared the great news with PEOPLE:
“I am pregnant again! I’m three months, and I’m so excited, my family is excited,” says a beaming Ali. “I’m hoping it’s a girl this time!”
The baby will make its arrival in April 2011 and will be baby #2 for 32-year-old Laila Ali and 39-year-old Curtis Conway, we wed in July 2007 and had their first child together, son Curtis Jr. (aka CJ), a year later in August 2008. Curtis has three children of his own from a previous relationship.
Laila’s dad, boxing legend Muhammad Ali, is excited about becoming a grandfather again.
“My dad is an excellent grandfather,” she says. “He loves kids. He loves to kiss them to death.”
