The guy who sang the hook for B.o.B‘s “Nothing On You” and Travie McCoy‘s “Billionaire,” and also wrote Cee-Lo‘s “F**k You,” is getting some solo face time in his own music video!

Bruno Mars makes artwork with cassette tape as he laces a girl with compliments in his debut music video “Just the Way You Are.” The track also serves as a debut single for Mr. Mars (real name: Peter Hernandez), whose debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans is set to release on October 5th. Bruno is also scheduled to perform on the main stage Sunday (Sep 12) at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
