Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been in the hospital since mid-July and according to her publicist is expected to be sent home Saturday afternoon (Aug 7).
Gabor was watching TV in her Bel Air home on July 17th when she fell out of her bed and broke her hip after reaching to answer her telephone. Two days later, the 93-year-old actress underwent emergency hip replacement surgery at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and at one point, she was in critical condition after having a bad reaction to morphine, but is now doing a lot better after being switched to a different pain medication
The Hungarian actress’ publicist John Blanchette says that she will be discharged from the hospital today and taken to her home in Bel Air to recuperate.
We’re glad everything turned out okay with Ms. Gabor!
