Wonder Woman is 69 and looking fine!
The comic book superheroine has turned 69 and to kick off the celebration, will be wearing a brand new costume in this week’s 600th issue of the monthly series. According to Mr. Straczynski, the new writer of the comic book series, she’s been way overdue for an upgrade.
“She’s been locked into pretty much the exact same outfit since her debut in 1941. If you’re going to make a statement about bringing Wonder Woman into the 21st century, you need to be bold and you need to make it visual. I wanted to toughen her up, and give her a modern sensibility.”
Go ahead Wonder Woman, 69 years going strong!
