Insiders say Jennifer went off when she caught wind of Kate and Gerard hooking up following late-night cocktails at Hudson’s home earlier this year. Jennifer Aniston had a fling with Gerard Butler last year while they were filming their movie “The Bounty Hunter” and now she’s pissed at Kate for honing in on her meat!
“Even though she and Gerard are no longer together, Jen feels Kate was encroaching on her territory,” a source told the National Enquirer. “They used to be close, but this tiff over Gerry has really come between them. Jen always accepted that she and Gerard weren’t dating exclusively. But she went ballistic when she heard what had happened. Jen is a big believer in keeping away from another girl’s guy and cut Kate off there and then. It’s hard to imagine their friendship will recover.
