Wearing a black, winged Stella McCartney dress, former X Factor winner Leona Lewis walked the red carpet at a party hosted by the Spanish edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine at the Casino de Madrid Wednesday night (Feb 17) in Madrid, Spain.
Leona was nominated in the “Best Female Solo Artist” category for the 2010 Brit Awards, held just the night before in London, but she lost the award to singer Lily Allen.
But despite missing out, the singer earlier told MailOnline on the red carpet that she wasn’t hopeful of winning anyway. She said: “I’m excited and really looking forward to seeing Jay-Z. I’m up against some really strong girls and I can’t call who is going to win. The other girls are amazing and we are all deserving.”
