TUESDAY'S RUNDOWN!

FOXY BROWN ARRESTED FOR LYING ABOUT HER NAME!

FOXY BROWN STAYS IN THE DAMN NEWS! » She may not be coming out with any new material, but Foxy Brown always finds a way to keep herself relevant these days. The Record of Bergen County reports that good old Inga was driving an SUV in Mahwah, New Jersey on Wednesday. Authorities told the newspaper that the rapper was stopped for talking on a cell phone and failing to stop at a stop sign. Authorities say a check showed the SUV’s registration had been suspended, and that the 27-year-old rapper gave officers a variation of her real name and a date of birth that was a year off (silly ho). When the officers finally learned that Brown’s license was suspended, she was taken to police headquarters. She was issued seven traffic tickets and released on her own recognizance. She was told to appear in municipal court in Mahwah on September 4th. Didn’t she JUST go to court last week?

In other Foxy B news, I hear homegirl is pregnant and own her way to getting married! She apparently confessed of such news at Bed Bath and Beyond. New York Post columnist Cindy Adams reports that she told customers in the NYC store that she was expecting and engaged. According to fellow customers, she said, “I’m getting married in September. I’m pregnant.” What the hell is this girl on? I need answers!!

LONDON FANS ATTACK CHRIS BROWN!

LONDON LOVES CHRIS BROWN! » Chris Brown brought London’s Oxford Street to a standstill on Saturday afternoon after appearing at Nike Town where he signed copies of his new single Wall to Wall. There was so much hysteria that the 18-year-old had to be escorted out of the building by armed policemen. A source told MTV UK: “It was pure pandemonium. I’ve been working here for a few years now and never before has any other celebrity drew this many people to the store.” Because of time limits only a few of the hundreds of people who arrived could meet their idol and so afterwards Chris Brown did a walk around the store and then ran outside. Things soon got tricky for the R&B crooner when fans descended on him from both sides of Oxford Street and tackled the star to the floor where they then began trying to strip his clothes off. Brown managed to escape unharmed from the encounter (minus muddy clothes) and was quickly rushed back in-store by his security where he had to wait until the police arrived to provide him with an escort.

DR. DRE IS ABOUT HIS MONEY … REAL TALK!

DR. DRE IS ABOUT HIS MONEY! » Rapper and music producer Dr. Dre filed a lawsuit in bankruptcy court against defunct label Death Row Records over who owns the rights to the 1992 album “The Chronic.” Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, alleges in the suit that he owns the copyrights to the album, which features hits such as “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang.” And he isn’t taking kindly to the possibility that Death Row and the court-appointed bankruptcy administrator will try to sell the rights. The lawsuit, filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles, asserts that Dr. Dre created, produced and was the principal performer on all master recordings for “The Chronic.” [ READ MORE AT BILLBOARD.BIZ » ]
