Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Noemie Lenoir is recovering after consuming “large quantities” of drugs and alcohol in an apparent suicide attempt this week. A passerby found her unconscious in a wooded area near her home in Paris, France.

The 30-year-old model had been dating a young Swiss millionaire named Carl Hirschmann and sources say Noemie might have been bothered by Carl’s recent legal troubles related to him being involved in a sex and blackmail scandal, which could have caused her to attempt to take her own life.

Hirschmann is accused of organizing videotaped sex romps with intoxicated models and then demanding money in return for not posting the videos on the Internet, according to the Daily Mail. His legal woes also include being accused having sex with a minor and forcing someone, not necessarily a minor, of committing a sex act against their will, according to the newspaper.

Hirschmann, 29, is reportedly being held on $375,000 bail in Zurich and cannot leave Switzerland. He denies the accusations. Lenoir, smitten with the young playboy, had reportedly been traveling extensively to see him. The various charges and the seriousness of the allegations against him have caused her great distress, according to reports.
