I know I said I wouldn’t be making any updates or anything until the 26th or 27th, but I think this is important enough for you guys to know before then… James Brown, best known as “The Godfather of Soul,” passed away in an Atlanta, Georgia hospital this morning. He was 73 years old.

James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured ”Godfather of Soul,” whose rasping vocals and revolutionary rhythms made him a founder of rap, funk and disco as well, died early Monday, his agent said. He was 73. Brown was hospitalized with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital on Sunday and died around 1:45 a.m. Monday, said his agent, Frank Copsidas of Intrigue Music. Haha, who else can pull off wearing this kind of outfit in a blizzard but Mariah?? Here are some photos Mariah Carey on Wednesday in Aspen with a glass full of champaigne in one hand, and using the other hand to balance herself on the dude beside her. She HAD to have been cold! Everyone else around her looks like they’re bundled up in layers, and she’s walking around like she’s in 65-degree whether. Regardless, she looks HOT with her skin-tight black pants and her boobs out =P

Is she really trying to rid herself of her bad habits? Or is she just doing this for the cameras? Only time will tell, but I really do hope she keeps this up!

WBLS hosted their “Party With A Purpose” a few days ago at the Marriott Marquis with performances from Stevie Wonder, Tyrese, Fantasia Burrino, and more. Proceeds from ticket sales went to The United Negro College Fund, Houseful of Toys, and Day-One Anti Domestic Violence. Check out more photos after the hop… CONTINUE READING

Not sure why Cherish was there (but they perform), but Bow Wow was there to promote his new album, “The Price of Fame.” Check out more photos after the hop. ALSO, I’m not sure if you guys watched, but I found a youtube video of one of the girls from Cherish (not sure of her name) saying she wanted an apology from Bow Wow as a Christmas gift, but she never did say what for. You can check that out below … and tell me what you think.
