According to various sources, actor Kevin Spacey is on his way to closing a deal with HBO for a drama series called “The Crux” in which he will play a high profile cult leader. The show will follow the life of the head honcho of a multi-billion dollar operation in L.A. Rod Lurie, who will direct the movie, feels as if Spacey is the perfect match for the part.
“It really is a perfect marriage between an actor and a role,” Lurie told Variety Magazine.
