Sources close to Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper claim that their pair, who star alongside each other in the upcoming film “The Words,” are ready to tell family and friends (and later, the entire world, we assume) about their relationship!

It was just a month ago that Saldana’s reps denied that she and her co-star were anything more than friends after they sparked dating rumors following an outing in NYC that looked very much like a date.

But just last week, a snitch revealed to E! News that Zoe and Bradley were telling friends that they plan on making a ski trip to the Rockies together … as a couple!

“They are totally dating,” the snitch told E! News.

Of course, reps for both stars aren’t returning requests for comment, which most likely means that yes, they are dating.

Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana’s rumored romance comes just a month after Saldana and her fiance Keith Briton announced that they were amicably splitting after 11 years together.

Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper — who was named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine — has been linked to several women since his split with Renee Zellweger this past March, including Jennifer Lopez and French actress Melanie Laurent.

“If you’re a single man and you happen to be in this business, you’re deemed a player,” he told People in his Sexiest Man Alive interview earlier this year. “But I don’t see myself as a ladies’ man.”

If you say so BC! If you say so…

Kim Kardashian and actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana were among the charitable celebrities who helped the Los Angeles mission serve Thanksgiving meals and celebrate its 75th anniversary Wednesday (Nov 23).

Kim, Jennifer and Zoe, along with actors Blair Underwood and Kirk Douglas, helped the L.A. mission serve nearly 4,000 meals during their 75th Thanksgiving celebration this year.

“These people don’t have the meals that we do, so anything we can do to provide that for them, I’m very happy to do,” Kardashian told reporters at the charity event.

Actress Zoe Saldana stars as a stone-cold assassin named Cataleya Restrepo in the upcoming movie “Colombiana,” due out in theaters on August 26th!

“Avatar” star Zoe Saldana and her longtime boyfriend of 10 years Keith Britton are engaged to be married!

A rep for the 32-year-old actress confirmed the news to Us Magazine earlier this afternoon (Wed. Jun 30) but no other details about the engagement were available, however a source tells Us that Saldana is “thrilled” to be walking down the aisle soon.

“They’ve been together forever. They’re a great couple.”

Zoe has remained quiet about her decade-long relationship and her friends say she’ll most likely keep quiet about her engagement as well due to privacy concerns.

“She doesn’t even introduce him as her fiancé,” adds another insider. “She will just say, ‘This is Keith.’ She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress.”

Another source also told Us Magazine that Zoe isn’t stressing about her upcoming nuptials:

“She hasn’t stopped working to plan anything.”

It’s become a trend for Vanity Fair to shoot an issue every year titled “A New Hollywood” that includes up and coming actress that have recently made splashes in Hollywood. When I first saw the cover for the 2010 issue, I did a small double take. The article included Twilight’s Kristen Stewart but not Gabourey Sidibe? Then I decided to look at the full spread, hoping she’d be there; but no, she wasn’t. And as I examined the spread more, it came to my attention that there was something seriously missing here: African-Americans! A friend of mine made a comment that it was the “skinny white girl” issue and honestly, I could not agree more.

This year’s ladies include (2^nd Picture: left to right) Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfried, Rebecca Hall, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, and Anna Kendrick. Now tell me, how many do you recognize? I’m a film major and only recognize five but have only seen four of them act. Amanda Seyfried stared in the movie musical Mamma Mia! and later went to co-star in the flop Jennifer’s Body. Kristen Stewart stars as Bella in the franchise Twilight, though her acting can be seriously questioned. Emma Stone has gone the comedian route in movies like Superbad and Zombieland but apart from that, hasn’t done much else. Lastly, Evan Rachel Wood starred in the movie Thirteen years ago and has recently been in Across the Universe and The Wrestler. As for the fifth one I recognize, I’ve seen Anna Kendrick in the trailers for Up in the Air.

Needless to say, it is very clear that there is a conscious effort not to include two female African-American actresses who have made more than just a splash and have more credibility under their belts than the featured actresses. Gabourey Sidibe, for one, has only been in one movie, Precious, and has already received both Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress, with ten other wins. She has been proclaimed as one of the breakout performers of the last year, yet she doesn’t make the “New Hollywood” list? Hmm…

Next is Zoe Saldana. Yes, she’s had small roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Vantage Point but it wasn’t until last year when she broke out as a star with her role as Nyota Uhura in Star Trek. She then went in to grab a lead role in the record breaking Avatar. She’s been nominated for an Image Award, MTV Movie Award, etc., and with a sequel to Star Trek in the works and four movies already completed for 2010, I think it’s clear to say that she is definitely a breakout actress. Yet, again, she doesn’t make the “New Hollywood” list? Something doesn’t seem right here.

I can’t honestly see why Zoe did not make the list. She’s thin, beautiful, and talented. She doesn’t have the bra size of the women on the cover and she has acknowledged it, but that didn’t stop her from making People Magazine’s annual 100 Most Beautiful People in the World list. Some will defend Vanity Fair, saying it’s because she has acted before 2009 or even 2008. But so has the other females on the cover. Kristen Stewart starred in Speak and Catch That Kid in 2004, and Panic Room in 2002 while Evan Rachel Wood’s credentials go back all the way to 1994. So what other reason could they possibly have not to include her? It’s not like the others have had a bigger hit than Avatar. As for Gabby, I think it’s clear why she wasn’t included: she doesn’t fit into today’s mold of what females should look like. She isn’t the skinny light-skinned stunning beauty. But so what? With only one movie, she’s already nominated for the two most prestigious awards in the film industry, a feat not even Anna Kendrick, also an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee, can size up to.

There’s only one reason that I can think of that these two aren’t featured and as we are living in the 21^st century, it’s a shame that we must result to it. This seems to be a deliberate exclusion of African-American women for the sake of sales. After the success of African-American women such as Oprah, Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson, etc., you would think that this wouldn’t be an issue that today’s society should have to deal with but clearly it is, and it should be addressed.

What are your thoughts on Vanity Fair’s cover? Do you agree and think that Gabby and Zoe should have been featured and that they’re clearly trying to fit a stereotype? Or do you think this conclusion is digging too deep and reaching?

The 2010 Golden Globes went down last night (Sun. Jan 17) in Beverly Hills, CA at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The good folks over at WoooHa.com have exclusively released some of the first photos from the upcoming movie “Takers,” starring T.I., Chris Brown, Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy, Hayden Christensen, Zoe Saldana and Jay Hernandez. The Screen Gems film was produced by Will Packer.

Takers is about a group of criminals who find their $20 million plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective (Dillon). Walker stars as the leader of the bank robbers; Christensen is a newbie detective.

HANDS DOWN, “Avatar” is the best adventure movie I have every seen and very well most likely to be Best Picture of the year. Avatar is a majestic epic in its class, taking you on a journey deep into an alien world where mankind and alien throw down in an classic clash of Cowboys vs Indians; A visual  phenomenon with breath taking CG effects that captured an earthy final fantasy type world full of life, strange creatures, exotic plants, and an intoxicating spectrum of color and movement to the slightest detail. No wonder I was glued to the edge of my seat for the entire 2hr and 4min wishing the end would never come.

Starting off rather fast paced, the film gets straight to the point, with the main character Jake Sully having embarked on a journey that would change his life. On course to the planet Pandora, the epic begins with Sully learning about his Avatar body that he will use to walk among the alien population, an experience that seems quite futuristic no doubt.

The company he works for seek a precious rock that is found on the strange planet, worth unmeasurable amounts of wealth. But one of the aliens most sacred and spiritual places rests on top of the mineral deposit, causing an epidemic and war. Forced with a decision the native alien species must decide if they will cooperate with their foreign invaders or stand and fight (Bow and Arrows vs Machine Guns) in an epic display of how savage invaders who’ve fallen corrupt to greed will destroy everything, including the innocent, to get what they want.

Meanwhile Sully has to face himself. Does he betray the company who hired him, his people, or will he watch the newly found love of his life and all that she loves burn to the ground over money? The question that will change the fate of two world collided.

Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks and, if you have the means to do so, giving back. Rapper Lil Mama volunteered at a New York City Rescue Mission Thursday (Nov 26). The America’s Best Dance Crew judge served hot meals to hungry people off of the streets who most likely wouldn’t get a chance to really celebrate Thanksgiving otherwise.

On the other side of the country, comedian Arsenio Hall helped serve a Thanksgiving meal at the Laugh Factory’s 31st annual free Thanksgiving Feast Thursday (Nov 26) in West Hollywood.

Actress Zoe Saldana attended the Los Angeles Mission & Anne Douglas Center’s Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless Wednesday (Nov 25).

Actor/singer Corbin Bleu also volunteered in LA at the Los Angeles Mission & Anne Douglas Center’s annual Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless.

And Latin rapper Pitbull, pictured above with Mr. Turkey, handed out turkeys to needy families Wednesday (Nov 25) in his hometown of Miami, Florida.

GQ Men of the Year Wale and Drake attended the party celebrating their honor at the Chateau Marmont Wednesday evening (Nov 18) in Hollywood. According to the popular men’s magazine, Wale, Drake and Kid Cudi have “killed” gangsta Hip-Hop, earning each of them the “Man of the Year” title.

GQ says: Have you been listening to hip-hop this year? If not, we’ve got good news: The gangster persona is finally dead, and these are the kids who killed it. One song at a time, they build a new era in which duct-taped kilos, exotic firearms, and freaky girls are out and real life is the focus. … Wale is as famous for his live shows as for the slick-witted lyricism of his debut Attention Deficit. Kid Cudi is the cut up who scored with the stoner anthem “Day N Nite” and his album Man on the Moon. And then there’s Drake, who found himself turning down multimillion-dollar offers after his single “Best I Ever Had” exploded. (It helps that the girls like Drake. A lot.) Drake’s debut, Thank Me Later, is easily the most anticipated album of 2010.

So what do these underdogs think about being cast as gangster slayers? “The dope boy is going to be a fixture of black culture as long as ‘thug’ is a legitimate option alongside ‘job,’” Drake says. “But I’m not going to rap about how much crack I’ve sold.” Cudi also laughs at the idea of talking tough. “Anybody from Cleveland will tell you I wasn’t in the streets,” he says. “Ask them, They’ll say. ‘Scott was the goofy class clown.’”

Here Jamie Foxx can be seen paying tribute to Michael Jackson (comedically, of course) as the host of the 2009 BET Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 28) on BET. Jamie Foxx is probably one of the few people who can make light of a sad situation and have everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The BET Awards was supposed to dedicate the entire show to Michael, per the press release sent out Friday, but failed to impress.

The show itself was pretty good, but they should have never mentioned dedicating the show to MIchael if they didn’t have the time to do it right. That said, we really hope they put together an entire special to honor the late King of Pop so they can at least try to save face.
