Speculation has been mounting for weeks, and now the highly anticipated tour featuring rappers Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and Drake has been given an official name, in addition to dates and venues. Dubbed “Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival,” the tour will travel to 21 cities throughout the United States and Canada. Tickets will go on sale Saturday (Jun 20) via Ticketmaster, Live Nation and venue ticketing systems depending on venue.
This tour will be the follow up to Weezy’s highly successful “I Am Music Tour,” which played a total of 47 arena dates across the United States. After an opening act hits the stage, Wayne’s protege Drake will perform, followed by Soulja Boy, then Young Jeezy and last and most certainly not least … Lil Wayne!
BET Networks recently announced via press release that rappers Jay-Z, Fabolous and Young Jeezy and gospel duo Mary Mary have all been added to the official line-up of performers for the 2009 BET Awards. The annual ceremony’s star-studded line-up of performers already includes platinum-selling artists like Beyonce, Kanye West, The Dream, Soulja Boy, Ne-Yo and Maxwell so the new additions to the roster will no doubt be in good company.
Dates and a final line up are still on the verge of being confirmed, but word on the sidewalk is that Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Drake and Soulja Boy are going on tour this summer! If this turns out to be true, this will most likely be the summer season’s biggest hip-hop tour.
A rep from Soulja Boy’s camp confirmed the news to MTV and Soulja Boy himself made a “TSA (Twitter Service Announcement)” on his Twitter Thursday (June 4) night also confirming the tour:
“TSA (Twitter Service Announcement) — I’m going on Tour with Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy & Drake this summer! Get ya tickets ASAP!!!!”
Here’s the CDQ version of a brand new track with a hot line-up of artists, a sick beat and dope lyrics to match! Download Lil Wayne’s “I’m Going In,” which features Drake and Young Jeezy, below! Shout out to Lil Wayne HQ for the high quality version of the track!

In other Weezy/Drake news, the two Young Money rappers are reportedly hitting the stage for a summer tour. Weezy’s manager Cortez Bryant confirmed the news late last week. No dates/venues have been announced, but there are rumors floating around that Jay-Z and Young Jeezy will be sharing the bill and if so, you know GOT is gonna be in the house when they come to ATL! We’ll keep you posted :)
Rappers Young Jeezy, T.I. and Nelly hit up Saturday night’s Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Playoff Game (Game 4) at the Philips Arena in ATL. Keyshia Cole was also in attendance and sang the National Anthem before the opening tip.
And the house was PACKED with black star power! Continue reading to peep even more photos of Jermaine Dupri, Polow Da Don and Monica also enjoying the game via their exclusive high-priced celebrity courtside seats (yes, we ARE hating).
Rappers Nas and Young Jeezy showed off their A-list celebrity status by posing for a few photos courtside Wednesday night as they watched the Hawks take on the Miami Heat in Playoff Game 2 in Atlanta.

Here’s the latest visual production from rapper Kanye West featuring ATLien Young Jeezy in “Amazing,” which comes straight from Yeezy’s latest chart-topping album 808’s and Heartbreak. We appreciate Kanye and his attempt at trying to bring back denim jackets, but c’mon man. We’re in a recession. Ain’t nobody tryna buy what you’re selling … figuratively, of course haha. Peep the video, directed by Hype Williams, after the cut!
T.I., Young Jeezy, Lil Scrappy, and Ludacris (photographed from L to R above) were just a few of the names who took the stage Sunday night at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, and according to our boy Freddy O, “everybody that was anybody was in the building!” Other rappers who took the stage were Rick Ross and Shawty Lo.
T.I., brought out by Young Jeezy, was actually a surprise guest and wasn’t originally included in the line-up. Freddy said fans at the show were a little confused since T.I. was supposed to head to prison a couple of weeks back, but a quick Google search will let them know that ol’ Clifford has until May 6th to turn himself in. Ain’t the inna-net grate?!
