Young Jeezy gives fans a rare glimpse of his life and journey from the streets to the top of the Hip-Hop game in an all-new 44 minute documentary film called “A Hustlerz Ambition,” which shows the rapper as he thinks back on his childhood, being abandoned by his father and selling drugs at a young age.

The film, narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and co-directed by Chris Robinson and Iren Brown, also features appearances from the rapper’s parents, and several of his celebrity friends, including Jay-Z, Rihanna, T.I., Drake, Diddy and more.

Who knew that underneath all of that rough Hip-Hop exterior, Young Jeezy actually has a sensitive side?

In a brand new interview with our good friends over at Necole Bitchie, the ATL rapper, on the verge of releasing his next album “Thug Motivation 103,” talks about the current “emotional” state of Hip-Hop, and also gives his thoughts on love and marriage.

Get into Young Jeezy’s mind below:

Necole Bitchie: You have professed several times over that you’re married to the game. Would you ever marry in real life?
Young Jeezy: It would take a lot. I was put here for a reason. It’s not like I get up and practice how to be Jeezy. I really live this life. And my career, my music, the game, that is my life. And for me to get married, I’d have to find somebody to ride with me. That takes a lot of balance. This is 24/8. I’m in the studio, or gone a lot. And not to mention that chicks dig me, so it’s hard to find that trust. More importantly, it’s hard to deal with somebody who’s already in love with something else.

Necole: Have you ever been in love?
Jeezy: I had a female or two that I thought was down, but over time things change – you start to see the real person and their real motives. So no, I wouldn’t call it love. I thought it was at the time, but I was wrong.

What went wrong?
Some people don’t want to share you. I love being the spokesperson for my people. It’s hard to share me with that. The game is all I’ve ever known since I was like eleven. And it’s been there for me when no female hasn’t…Honestly, half of my life I’ve f-cked up a lot of things because I’m too loyal.

That’s a loaded statement. Care to elaborate?
Nah…I’m not too much into talking specifics.

I notice that. You are extremely private when it comes to your personal life. Where does that come from? Was that a conscious decision?
I was always taught by the older cats that I came up under to never let anybody know what’s going on in your game room. Love and loyalty are big things to me. You have to protect those things. And the moment you start opening up those doors to everybody, you lose the ability to protect them.

What kind of woman does Young Jeezy like? What attracts you? And what keeps you?
What attracts me? Hmm, well of course looks attract me, but in order to keep me you have to be well rounded. A woman has to be confident, hard working – it doesn’t even matter what you do – just go hard for it. But she’s got to have her own. I couldn’t deal with someone who doesn’t have a passion. She might even call me for a lil advice and I might go to her when I’m stressed and we can work it out together. A man and woman were put here to be a team, so they could build together. But before we can get there, you first have to have your own.

You have a track with Drake, “Unforgettable.” And Drizzy’s taking a lot of flack now a days for his brand of “Emotional Hip Hop.” What are your thoughts on it? Has Hip Hop gotten too emo?
Hip Hop has always been emotional. I feel like with me, a lot of my stuff comes across as rough. I speak from stress, I speak from pain, anxiety and so my music comes out real aggressive. But that’s because that’s the emotion I’m sharing. But I’ve always thought my music was emo, I just choose aggressive tracks. But aggressive times cause for aggressive measures. You can try to finesse it but the emotion has always been there, so I think what’s happening now is artists are choosing more finessing tracks. There’s still the same amount of emotion – they may be talking about other things – but what you’re really hearing are softer tracks.

After talking about love, Jeezy also shared his three tips on how to love a thug:

(1) Respect His Mind: When you come from a place where the odds are against you, you don’t think like everyone else. You grow up paranoid and sometimes self-centered. And it’s not that you even mean anything by it, you’re just so used to doing what you have to do to stay alive. So if you ‘re gonna be with a man like that, you have to understand that’s just how his mind works and ya’ll are going to have to figure out how to make it work, together.

(2) Let Him Do What He Do: If you met that man in the club, then don’t get mad if he wants to dip off to the club every once in a while. That’s where you met him, so that’s obviously what he likes. He’s the club guy, so let him be who he is. Don’t come in and try to change him. That’s when ya’ll are gonna run into problems.

(3) No Matter What, Always Stay Down: If he wakes up one day, and it’s all gone you have to be the woman ready to roll up your sleeves and help him build it all back.

With Young Jeezy’s new album TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition just weeks away from being released, the “Shake Life” rapper has opened up more about his rumored beef with Rick Ross.

In an interview with Sway on MTV”s “RapFix Live”, the Snowman revealed most of the drama began when he put out a freestyle over Ross’ “B.M.F.” track.

“In my mind, in my heart, I just killed the verse. If I killed the verse and you took it personally, then that’s on you.”

Things then went from what Jeezy says should have been strictly focused on music to the streets.

“I hear things; the streets talk. I’m hearing he reaching out to [Big] Meech and trying to get him to speak bad — that’s my brother. When you’re trying to bring the streets into rap to prove a point, then you already lost. You separate the two, and that ain’t to be played with. You’ve got people that lost their lives and people that are doing real time. If we gon’ make music, let’s just make music.”

Jeezy feels like the beef all stems from a video posted on WorldstarHipHop taken the wrong way.

“I feel like the whole started thing from a clip on WorldStarHipHop, and my thing was, if I’m a boss and you a boss, let’s sit down and be bosses. You take a clip that somebody edited and run with that? What part of the game is that? If you felt like that, hit me up, let’s chop it up, we bosses.”

To him the whole ordeal is more over selling records instead of personal issues….especially after he attempted to wrap things up with Ross at the BET Awards, but he declined.

“I felt like it was about selling records. It’ not about you about me. We could’ve stepped in the corner and chopped it up. So right then and there, I knew it was about records, so I was cool with it.”

Hopefully sometime in the near future…these two can squash all of this and let bygones be bygones.

Young Jeezy lit the stage on fire (literally!) as he opened up the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards with fellow ATLien T.I., who just days before was released from an Atlanta halfway house.

The BET HHAs were held October 1st in Atlanta at the Civic Center, and the show finally aired on BET last night (Oct 11).

Jeezy kicked off the festivities with his latest single “F.A.M.E. (Fake A** Mothaf**kas Envy)“ and was joined by T.I., who rapped his verse on the track, and later segued into his own solo performance of his new come-back song “I’m Flexin.”

In honor of his new-found freedom, T.I. hosted a private brunch in his hometown of Atlanta Sunday afternoon (Oct 2).

The rapper teamed up with his AKOO clothing line and his Grand Hustle Entertainment record label for the First Annual A King of Oneself Brunch, which was also attended by his wife Tiny, Tiny’s BFF Toya, rappers Nelly and Young Jeezy, Toya, manager to the stars Kevin Liles, producer Jazze Pha, Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed and more.

According to sources at the party, there was an open bar stocked full of Ciroc (courtesy of Diddy) and reps from AKOO measured VIP guests for custom-made clothing gifts. The whole party cost around $100K, with $20K just on food and an additional $8K on dessert.

Young Jeezy kicked off BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend and celebrated his birthday all at the same time with a very intimate event — only 50 people were invited — at radio personality Frank Ski‘s new restaurant and night lounge last night in Atlanta.

The rapper, who turned 33 years old Wednesday night (Sep 28), partied it up with the likes of Ne-Yo, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and more.

Jeezy even showed up to the soiree, sponsored by Ciroc and Red Bull, with a new armpiece, model Jasmine Sanders (who dated Chris Brown in the past). And our homie FreddyO was on hand to capture all of the action!

Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy may not be the best of friends … but they’re no longer worst enemies.

In an interview with MTV, the Brick Squad head honcho revealed that he and Jeezy have squashed their longtime beef (for what seems like the umpteenth time).

“On the strength of [the fact that] anything could have happened between not just me and him [but] between our camps, we just came to a sit-down of just respecting the fact that somebody can get hurt, and it ain’t going to be us. That’s what made us do that,” he explained.

However despite killing all beef, Gucci doesn’t see the two collaborating anytime in the future. “I don’t think so. We started the conversation, but I can’t see it happening,” he said.

Well at least they can agree to disagree and and let all the extra sh*t die out.

“It’s not true.”

According to a local newspaper in the Bahamas, as Jeezy was on his way to a show in an area of the island called New Providence, he was arrested by officials.

A reason for his arrest wasn’t revealed, and the newspaper that reported the incident says Jeezy wasn’t held for very long and was still able to make his scheduled performance.

Police in the Bahamas still haven’t revealed any more details about the alleged arrest and have yet to offer any statement of their own explaining what really went down.

Another day, another rapper jailed……SMH! According to AllHipHop, Young Jeezy was arrested in the Bahamas over the weekend. Details are below:

The “Lose My Mind” rapper was taken into custody Saturday (Dec. 4) at the Wuff Road Police station in the Bahamas…..but was released just in time for his performance in New Providence.

“He was here with us a short while, he passed through the station briefly on Saturday. He was booked in here and taken to CDU (Central Detective Unit),” Superintendent Ashton Greenslade told the Bahama’s Tribune newspaper.

The reason for Jeezy’s arrest is unknown at this time.

Rihanna has already said that she’s collaborating with rapper Drake, and now the Pop/R&B singer is speaking on her collab with Drizzy’s Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj. Rihanna says she and the Young Money femcee worked together on a song called “Raining Men” and spoke highly of Nicki’s skills as a writer in a recent interview with Capital FM. She said:

“You know I worked with her before on Rated R and she was just writing me some really good ballads and I couldn’t wait to work with her again and finally have her on my record. It’s a really fun song. It’s called ‘Raining Men’. No, nothing like the original. It’s quite up-tempo but kind of quirky and funny.

[Nicki] has a great buzz and she has a ‘thing’ to her. She is a star and that’s why people love her. She’s also really entertaining with her visual as well as her lyrics and she has a great melody. I’m really amazed that she can write like that. [Nicki] not only raps but she can write songs too. It was really easy actually. We were going back and forth with the texts on how we were going to get to do it because we were in two different places and had two opposite schedules.”

YOUNG JEEZY’S NEW ALBUM PUSHED BACK (AGAIN)

Fans eagerly awaiting the release of Young Jeezy‘s new album Thug Motivation 103 are going to have to wait until closer to Christmas as the project has been reportedly pushed back to December 14th.

The album serves as Jeezy’s fourth and is preceded by the singles “Jizzle,” “All White Everything” and “Lose My Mind,” neither of which are doing so well on the charts right now unfortunately, which would probably explain why the album keeps getting pushed back.

AMERIE REVEALS 5TH ALBUM TITLE

R&B singer Ameriie has announced the title of her fifth studio album. The “One Thing” singer recently premiered a number of tracks from the new album at a nightclub in Paris and revealed that it will be called Cymatika Vol. 1.

Speaking on her new album, Ameriie, who recently added an extra “i” to her name, said:

“It’s completely different! It’s not a hip-hop, R&B, soul album at all. It’s called Cymatika Vol. 1, I’ll have other volumes as well. Cymatika is the study of visual sound. As humans, we’re all energy and light and spirit; and sound plays a part in that because sound is simply vibrating energy. That’s what this album is about… about life and who we are, not being afraid to be who we are, and not forgetting our spirit.

“The album is influenced by new wave and acid house, which I explored in my album Because I Love It in 2007, which was released in Europe. For the fans who heard that, they’ll say, ‘Oh, I could see this coming’. For fans who loved the first album, they’re going to be like, ‘What is this?!’ But I grew up listening to everything, and this is where I am now. And it feels right for me.”

Cymatika Volume 1 is due for release sometime next year.

Rapper Young Jeezy has finally set a new release date for his upcoming fourth studio album Thug Motivation 103. The project is due to hit stores near the end of the summer on August 31st after many push-backs over the past year or so.

Meanwhile, Jeezy filmed the music video for the album’s second single “All White Everything” yesterday (Thurs. Jul 8) in Atlanta and folks like Trey Songz, rapper Yo Gotti, NBA player Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and producer Drumma Boy all came through to the video shoot.

The remix for the album’s lead single “Lose My Mind” (featuring Hip-Hop newcomer Drake) made its debut last month at the 2010 BET Awards. No word on whether or not that particular song will be sent to radio or if a video will be made for it just yet, but an encore performance could happen next month at the OVO Fest where Jeezy and Drake are both scheduled to take the stage. The concert, called the “October’s Very Own” festival, is scheduled to go down at the Molsen Amphitheater in Toronto, Canada on August 1st.

Less than two weeks after releasing his debut album Thank Me Later, Young Money rapper Drake hit the stage Sunday night (Jun 27) at the 2010 BET Awards in Los Angeles to perform a medley of songs from the album, including “Fireworks” and “Over.” Drake then brought out rapper Young Jeezy for a surprise performance of “Lose My Mind (Remix)” which featured a new verse from Drake.

The 15th Annual Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash went down in a major way last weekend in Atlanta, GA at the Philips Arena. This year’s Birthday Bash featured performances from recording artists Monica, Ludacris, Gucci Mane, Plies, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and many more.

There was also a lot of backstage action going on and we managed to grab pics of folks like Trina, Ciara (who came out during Luda’s set and performed “Ride”), Lance Gross, Shawty Lo, Waka Flocka Flame, and more hanging out between sets. Rapper Drake talks about being single and getting caught up by the paparazzi in his latest music release “Unforgettable” featuring Young Jeezy.

“Unforgettable” is a track from Drizzy’s highly anticipated debut album Thank Me Later, due to drop June 15th. Check out a radio rip of the new song above and a download link below:

Rapper Young Jeezy questions his sanity in his brand new music video for “Lose My Mind,” featuring fellow rapper Plies. In the new clip, Jeezy parties hard at the club while battling paranoia and seeing dark, ghostly images of himself in a leather straitjacket in the bathroom.

“Lose My Mind” is the first offering from Jeezy’s forthcoming fifth studio album Thug Motivation 103, which is due to hit stores sometime this year. In the meantime, peep Jeezy and Plies’ new video below!

Trey Songz will reportedly host a youth empowerment initiative called “Songz 4 Peace” at the University of Memphis on Sunday, April 18th. S4P’s mission is to educate and empower urban youth on the importance of choices.

In addition, MTV is reporting that the 25-year-old R&B singer, who just finished a major tour alongside Jay-Z and Young Jeezy, is gearing up to release his next album this Fall!

“September 14th, new album. He’s not gonna stop,” Liles said last week during a sit-down with MTV News to promote Def Jam Rap Star. “He’s gonna keep his foot on people’s necks, and he’s going to make sure they understand that we have to redefine R&B. We have to go work hard every single day to be the best.” Liles, a record executive with Def Jam and Warner Music Group, decided to come out of the “big suite” last year to concentrate on other business ventures. He was approached by Songz to help take the singer to the next level, and their mission was accomplished. Songz’s star is its brightest ever and the hits keep coming.

“Every day, this kid inspires me,” Liles said. “You know, that’s one of the reasons why I got back into it, because I wasn’t going to get back into it. I said, ‘I did it. I cannot [go back].’ I felt like I was starting to have the Michael Jordan syndrome, you know what I mean? What more? I scored 40 points, and you guys still feel I ain’t doing it. It’s like I scored 90 points, I said I don’t want to be in that business, I just want to be great. But he said, ‘Kev, we need you. You know we need you.’ So I’m in it full blown with him. September 14th, he’ll be back. He’s doing a theater tour coming up in August. He’s doing the BET Awards. The “MTV Unplugged,” which is amazing, sold out Roseland by itself, 3,000 people. It’s just a blessing to work with young talent.”

And that’s not all. Songz will reportedly star alongside his ex tour-mate Young Jeezy in an upcoming reality show.

“We’ve got the Blueprint 3 [Tour experience] from the eyes of Jeezy and Trey Songz coming out,” Liles revealed. “The first show airs on BET on June 27, the night of the BET Awards. The show comes first, and then right after that, the BET Awards.”

Rapper Young Jeezy talks about “Living the Dream, and a nightmatare” in his feature on the alternate cover of the April/May 2010 issue of Vibe Magazine. Trey Songz has the other one. The issue hits stands April 13th.

Atlanta celebrities, including Monica, T.I., Bobby Valentino, Keri Hilson and Young Jeezy were all at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA Wednesday night (Mar 31) to watch their Hawks take on the Los Angeles Lakers. In the end, the ATL Hawks came out victorious with a final score of 109 to 92.

Keri Hilson performed the national anthem prior to the game and was the talk of the Internet due to her forgetting some of the lyrics to the “Star Spangled Banner,” but she corrected herself and finished the song off pretty strong. Minus the flub, she did pretty good!

Gucci Mane‘s new artist Waka Flocka Flame just can’t stay out of trouble it seems. Flocka was involved in a near-fatal shoot-out after he and his entourage spotted Young Jeezy‘s crew at Walter’s Clothing in downtown Atlanta.

According to various reports, members of rapper Young Jeezy’s crew approached Flocka and his crew (Gucci Mane’s camp), which lead to a fight and gunshots were fired. Waka’s security shot a gun off in the middle of the brawl, but no one was seriously injured. Police confirmed the event took place around 4 P.M.

“There was a physical altercation inside the location between several men,” Atlanta police spokesman James Polite confirmed to the AJC. One of the men produced a weapon “and as a result a private armed security guard of a local entertainer discharged his weapon.” Polite said the security guard,  employed by local rapper Waka Flocka Flame, has been detained. The fighting was intense, witnesses said. “They just started going at it,” said Morrison, a Walter’s employee.

Waka Flocka Flame, aka Juaqin Malphurs, is a member of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad. His pseudonym alludes to the sound of cocking a semi-automatic pistol. “Whoever he is he’s got a big swollen eye now,” Morrison said.

Waka Flocka Flame, who was shot earlier this year when he was approached by an armed man at a car wash in the Atlanta area, has another side of the story though. And in his version, he’s not the one walking out with wore wounds.
